The leadership of the Presidential Advisory Committee on National Conference on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the Deji of Akure, Oba Adebiyi Adesida, at his palace in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
The delegation, led by Chairman of the Committee, Senator Femi Okunrounmu, made the stop after paying a similar visit to Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko.
The committee was in the state to hold its first interactive session with stakeholders, as it begins work in preparation for submission of findings to President Goodluck Jonathan.
Mr. Jonathan at the inauguration of the body on October 7, gave it one month to forward its report.
Other members of the comittee are Akilu Indabawa, (Secretary)Prof George Obiozor, Senators Khairat Gwadabe, and Timothy Aided, retired Col. Tony Nyiam and Prof. Funke Adebayo.
Also included are Mrs. Mairo Amshi, Dr. Abubakar Sadiq, Alhaji Dauda Birma, Mallam Bukhari Bello, Mr. Tony Uranta and Prof. Anya. O. Anya, who replaced legal luminary, Prof. Ben Nwabueze.
